Rock Creek Park: A Nature and History Walk (Guided Walk — Smithsonian Associates)

July 9 @ 8:30 am - 11:30 am EDT

$55 – $75

We survey the botanically diverse native trees of Rock Creek Park’s floodplain forest and upland woods and covers the history of D.C.’s woodland gem, the oldest urban national park in the country, twice the size of Central Park.

Melanie Choukas-Bradley is a naturalist, forest bathing guide, and author of several nature books, most recently Resilience—Connecting with Nature in a Time of Crisis and Finding Solace at Theodore Roosevelt Island.
