Melanie Choukas-Bradley, author of eight regional nature books, including City of Trees, A Year in Rock Creek Park, and her newest book, Wild Walking—A Guide to Forest Bathing Through the Seasons, will take you on a virtual journey through your favorite parks and gardens. Get inspired to take autumn hikes and strolls through our colorful city and countryside! In addition to sharing botanical and ecological lore, Melanie will talk about the history of Rock Creek Park, the Potomac Gorge, and natural landmarks throughout the Washington, DC region.
