SUMMARY:Forest Bathing (online class — Politics and Prose)
DESCRIPTION:Register \n\nJoin Melanie Choukas-Bradley\, author of The Joy of Forest Bathing and Resilience: Connecting With Nature in a Time of Crisis\, for a forest bathing presentation and experience that you can enjoy in your own backyard or even your living room. Based on her research for these two books\, her forest-bathing trip to Japan\, and her experience as a certified forest-bathing guide\, she will give you a comprehensive presentation accompanied by beautiful slides on the practice of shinrin-yoku (forest bathing) and give you guidance to lead your own solo or small-group forest-bathing walks during our current crisis and beyond.\n\n\n \n\n\nShinrin-yoku\, which began in the 1980s in Japan\, is rooted in the traditional Japanese reverence for nature.
